Rain Another Day's purpose is to advance sustainable water management by enhancing the user-friendliness of rainwater harvesting applications for eco-conscious consumers, enabling the average citizen to participate in the water conservation effort, help reduce water waste, and become more resilient.
Our Story
Rain Another Day, a company founded in 2025, is the brainchild of Dr. Paul Sambanis and Dagoberto Ramos.
Dr. Sambanis leads the team and brings over twenty years of experience in the fields of sustainability and resilience, with a focus on the public and private manufacturing sectors. His role as the Vice President of Sustainability at a plumbing manufacturer, and as Director of the Emergency Management and Resilience Planning program at the University of Illinois at Chicago, along with his advisory board positions, demonstrate his deep understanding and commitment to the field.
Dagoberto Ramos, an environmental chemist and water quality scientist, brings seven years of experience in water treatment and the construction of water systems. Both founders, as children of immigrants, were instilled with a duty to their families and their community. Their shared passion for freshwater sustainability and resiliency is a driving force behind their contributions to the public good.
